Following our recent acquisition of the assets of Mediserve solutions, the captive operations of Brighton Health Group, we are happy to announce the opening of our 19th delivery center in Mumbai, India on January 01, 2019. The new center in Mumbai will support healthcare provider and payer business processes including revenue cycle operations, claims administration, customer services, and digital health plan services.
Mediserve employees onboarded to Access Healthcare rolls
On December 26, 2018, we announced the acquisition to the Mediserve team and commenced an exercise to roll-out offer letters and induct the new team members to our rolls. Amitabh Vartak, our Chief Operating Officer was joined by Jacob Jesuroon, Vice President-Human Resources, and Chandranathan Udayakumaran, Sr. Director, in welcoming the nearly 200 people strong team to Access Healthcare. During the town hall meeting, Amitabh also introduced Shakeel Ansari, Lead Director- Access Healthcare, who will head our Mumbai Delivery Centre. A Q&A followed the town hall meeting. We had a great interaction with our new Mumbai team.
A majority of the 200 people team have already transitioned into Access Healthcare rolls and began operating from our new delivery site. About 33 team members, who are operating on inbound contact center processes will be transitioning into our rolls as soon as the MPLS circuits are implemented over the next 6-8 weeks.
