Access Healthcare is now one of the few Healthcare BPO companies in the world to be ISO 9001:2015 certified since the release of the certification in September 2015. Their decision to become ISO 9001:2015 certified embraces the ongoing drive for excellence in their customers’ business and demonstrates a commitment to providing the highest quality healthcare revenue cycle services in the industry.

To become ISO 9001:2015 certified, Access Healthcare submitted to a rigorous, independent evaluation process. The evaluation focused on quality management system development, management system documentation, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances. All process disciplines evaluated work to identify corrective actions that eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard.
“The Access Healthcare leadership team is clearly committed to the QMS and its continual improvement,” the auditor commented during the final read-out. “Additionally, staff involvement and application of system requirements were consistently demonstrated throughout the evaluation process.”
The changes are significant compared to the 2008 version of the certification. To certify an organization according to the most recent quality management system standards, a company must demonstrate a higher standard process of continuous improvement for mitigating risk and optimizing communication among stakeholders.
