Job Description
IT Purchasing Executive is a pivotal role in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented healthcare environment. Our IT Purchasing Associate is responsible for procurement of all technology for IT Implementation Management, Help Desk, Field Engineering teams, and quarterbacks in the procurement, shipping, and invoicing for our technology. Our purchasing is largely laptops, desktops, credit card devices, monitors, and networking components like firewalls, switches, and wifi access points. Our IT Operations team maintains a catalog of standard hardware that the Purchasing Associate orders, and we typically order each of these items in high volume.
This position is part-time. Given the importance of timely ordering and shipping, or IT Purchasing Associate
Process inbound purchasing requests and manage queue in SalesForce
Review purchase requests and generate quotes for customer sign off
Acquire approval for quotes through DocuSign, file approvals in SalesForce
Place orders for IT hardware/software from Privia's preferred vendors.
Ensure best value is achieved in orders
Track shipping information and update related SalesForce cases.
Occasional shipping tasks
Handle ordering, shipping, and delivery exceptions
Facilitate delivery and installation of hardware/software with Privia Field Engineering teams
Track licensing for software, services, and IT products throughout the organization, including processing renewals
The coordinate handoff between IT Operations and Finance
Attend monthly IT/finance meetings
Communicate and interact with all levels of IT structure
Maintain vendor relationships
Job REQUIREMENTs
To be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the following qualification criteria:
Previous purchasing experience required, preferably in procuring IT products in a procure to pay BPO setting
1-3 years technology background preferred
1-3 years accounting experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Industry knowledge of products and services is a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google G Suite products
